The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including assisted living, memory care, and occupational health. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Assist with tube feeding and other nutritional support for patients. Provide care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their comfort and safety. Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid and basic life support as needed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about health management, medication administration, and care procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in emergency medicine or occupational health is preferred but not required. Familiarity with tube feeding techniques and dementia care strategies is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
