Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as an RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care across diverse medical settings. In this vital role, you will deliver compassionate, efficient, and high-quality nursing services in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty care environments. Your skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and medical documentation will help ensure seamless care delivery. Whether working in a Level I Trauma Center or a community clinic, your dedication will support our mission to provide exceptional healthcare experiences for every patient. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology, and anatomy evaluations to determine care needs. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document medical records meticulously and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct IV insertions, venipuncture, and other invasive procedures with precision and professionalism. Monitor patient progress in various settings such as ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), medical-surgical units, emergency rooms, urgent care clinics, and post-acute care facilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's condition. Ensure infection control standards are upheld through proper procedures for infectious disease care and sanitation practices. Assist in patient education regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and discharge instructions to promote recovery and health maintenance. Maintain accurate medical documentation including patient assessments, vital signs, medication records, and clinical notes using EMR/EHR systems. Support hospital operations by participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to all safety protocols. Experience Proven experience working in a Level II trauma center or similar high-acuity environment with exposure to emergency medicine or trauma response. Demonstrated competence in hospital medicine, medical-surgical nursing, or outpatient clinic settings with a focus on patient care excellence. Prior experience in emergency room settings or urgent care clinics is highly desirable. Knowledge of critical areas such as Geriatrics, Infectious Disease Care, OR (Operating Room), PICU, or sub-acute care environments is a plus. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Strong understanding of basic life support (BLS), anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient assessment and intervention. Experience with IV insertion, venipuncture, medication administration, and injection techniques demonstrating technical proficiency. Ability to work effectively in inpatient or outpatient settings while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for protected health information.
