Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state's newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County's largest and most active health care facility—caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduated from an accredited program of Practical Nursing Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse BLS certification Maintains required Heart Saver CPR Certification/course completion status
Preferred:
Prior experience in a behavioral health setting helpful
