Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in a long term care / skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities include but not limited to are: Provide nursing care according to physician orders in accordance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures Administer medication and treatments per physician orders order medications from pharmacy, maintain narcotic records Perform shift to shift report and medication counts Assess residents upon admission and initiates the nursing care plan Identifies residents risks and initiates preventative care Schedules appointments and arranges for transportation for residents and communicating arrangements to residents and responsible parties Other duties as assigned.
