7:00 Pm•7:30 Am We are actively seeking a dedicated and versatile Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in travel and local assignments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for newly graduated nurses to gain valuable hands-on experience across diverse healthcare settings. The role involves providing compassionate patient care, supporting medical teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing services in various clinical environments. The position is designed to be flexible, with easy auto-offer options, making it accessible for a wide range of applicants seeking dynamic work opportunities. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in multiple healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Assist with patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheterizations adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations. Support complex procedures including wound care, tube feeding, and basic life support during emergencies or routine care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with diverse needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities. Conduct triage assessments and provide health coaching to promote patient well-being and education. Ensure infection control practices are maintained at all times while working with infectious disease cases or in sterile environments like operating rooms or ICU units. Qualifications Valid LPN license with current state registration; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of critical care procedures including ICU or trauma center experience is advantageous but not required. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and efficiently in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care clinics. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, medication administration protocols, and infection control standards. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities.
