Up to $6,000 Night Weekend Shift Differentials Available Position Purpose The Night Shift Nurse (RN/LPN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a calm overnight environment. This position provides hands-on nursing care, supports resident safety and comfort, and collaborates with the care team to ensure continuity of care throughout the night. Essential Responsibilities Provide total nursing care to residents on the assigned unit during the night shift Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations Communicate care plans, procedures, and treatments clearly to residents and families Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders Document care and resident responses thoroughly and timely Give and receive detailed shift reports to ensure continuity of care Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident comfort, safety, and condition Supervise and support CNAs, ensuring accurate daily documentation Coordinate care with therapists to support 24-hour rehabilitation needs Record diet changes and communicate updates to the Dietary Department Participate in quality improvement activities, in-services, and staff meetings Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program Active RN/LPN state license in good standing Minimum of 2 years nursing experience (or equivalent) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to professionalism and compassionate care
