In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various settings. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to provide quality patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Administer medications and injections accurately following physician orders and established protocols, and medication management. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, performing physical examinations, and evaluating physiological responses to treatment. Document patient care activities thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate patient care and follow-up Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards Requirements Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification to practice in the relevant healthcare setting. BLS certification Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding and CPT coding. Experience working with diverse patient populations with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients about their care plans.
