Job Description
Part Time and Full Time Positions Available RN:
$49 - $50 per hourLPN:
$33-$34 MAINFUNCTION
To assist in maintaining the highest quality of care to all patients. Understanding of Addiction, Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT), and the stigma associated with terminology and treatment of addiction and MAT. To act as health coordinator. User role(s) information systems access as assigned, where applicable.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Document all pertinent nursing care matters in client's EMR. Provide Nursing Assessment and consultation to perspective and actual patients. Maintain records of all infection control matters pertaining to patients and/or staff. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Maintain log (if applicable) for medications or other solutions (ie., PPD solution, Naltrexone, Buprenorphine) stored at facility along with destruction/expiration information. Assure the provision of education, risk reduction, counseling and referral services to all patients regarding HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases and other communicable diseases. Follow universal precautions and utilize the appropriate infection control measures. Supervise same-sex urine sample collection for toxicology. Administer breathalyzer and alcohol swabs. Attend job related meetings and in-service lectures. Inform office manager of general office and medical supplies as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Perform Admission Nursing Assessment and make appropriate nursing diagnoses based on that assessment. Assess client's psychiatric history and current psychiatric status. Administer medications as ordered by the physician (MAT programs), understand basic pharmacology, planting and reading of PPDs (intradermal skin test). Proficient in basic nursing skills and competent in taking an electrocardiogram and blood pressure. Age specific clinical skills related to the adolescent and geriatric client. Proficient in computer usage including EMR system, Microsoft Outlook and other information systems.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach. The position may on occasion require the employee to stoop kneel or crouch. The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned and make general observations.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
