  • Temporary, Part-time, Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse respons I ible for providing clinical support to the health care team by providing high quality nursing care services to patients in accordance with established LPN job standards, policies, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Serves as a clinical resource to medical assisting staff Performs telephone triage as designated by department Prepare patients for provider visits including but not limited to, obtaining vital signs, a review of presenting complaints, allergy and medication reconciliation Perform back office lab testing and administer treatments per department protocol Properly administers oral and/or injectable immunizations/medications per department protocol Assist providers with special exams and procedures Accurately and appropriately, record patient information in Electronic Medical Record Assist in the follow-up of patient results, per department protocol, at direction of a provider Assist with coordination of patient care at office visits, on phone or through the electronic medical record. Ability to relay correct and appropriate instructions/ information to patients and facilitate problem solving within scope of practice. Verbal communication and written documentation meets clinical and professional standards Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers Recognize urgent/emergent situations and respond appropriately following designated protocols Maintain cleanliness of patient care areas, clinical equipment and medical instruments following designated protocols Participates in departmental team meetings and training sessions. Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with department needs and company policies Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and security policies and practices. Reports violations and incidents they observe and cooperates in investigations as requested by management.
