Sunrise Senior Living, a leader in providing nurturing care to seniors, is seeking a dedicated LPN Med Tech to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering customized care plans and medical attention to our residents within our various living facilities, such as assisted living, and memory care units. As an LPN Med Tech, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient health, and contributing to a supportive environment that prioritizes the wellness and individuality of each resident. Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and maintain accurate medical records. Monitor the health condition of residents and report any significant changes to the senior nurses and doctors. Assist residents with daily medical needs, adhering to personalized care plans. Educate residents and their families on medical treatments and care plans. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to the facility's health and safety guidelines. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Strong practical knowledge in nursing. Proficiency in using medical technologies and software for healthcare. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high-stress, emotionally charged situations with composure. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification required. Valid CPR certification. Additional qualification in geriatric nursing is preferred.
