Job Description

Overview We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses(LPN) to join our healthcare team for evening and night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience across various clinical settings including long-term care, assisted living, hospital environments, and specialized units such as ICU, trauma centers, or pediatric care. This role offers an opportunity to provide compassionate nursing services in a dynamic and supportive environment, utilizing advanced skills in medical documentation, patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency response. The LPN will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to diverse patient populations, including those with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient tasks including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations using EMR/EHR systems (SigmaCare) Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA regulations and medical protocols. Perform IV infusions, catheterizations, tube feedings, management as required. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing. Provide specialized care for patients with acute pain management needs, infectious diseases, or post-acute conditions including hospice or palliative care. Manage airway procedures and participate in emergency interventions Document all patient interactions thoroughly within medical records Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on admissions and discharge planning. Support patients with dementia or memory care needs through specialized Alzheimer's and behavioral health protocols. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and sterile processing procedures. Skills Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Experience in LTC, acute care environments. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to medication administration and diagnostic evaluation. Skilled in performing medication pass, treatments, catheter care, all precautions and sterile techniques. Ability to identify patient condition changes rapidly and accurately and to communicate timely in regards to pain management or infection control concerns for example. . Experience working with diverse populations including adults with cognitive disabilities or elderly patients requiring geriatrics or memory care services. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. This position is ideal for licensed practical nurses committed to delivering compassionate patient-centered care during evening and night shifts across various healthcare settings. Candidates should demonstrate a strong clinical background complemented by excellent documentation skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure while adhering to safety standards.
Pay:
$32.00 - $37.00 per hour
