Job Description

A nonprofit organization on Long Island is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its Children's Residential Program in Suffolk County. About the
Opportunity:
Schedule:
Monday to
Friday Hours:
8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
Population:
Pediatrics Responsibilities:
Oversee medical coordination for pediatric residents in a children's residential program Attend and coordinate medical appointments Prepare appointment paperwork and follow-up documentation Maintain accurate health records, logs, and medical files Communicate with families, providers, pharmacies, and the interdisciplinary team Review MARs and help ensure medications and supplies are available Support compliance with OPWDD standards Work closely with the supervising RN, ADON, DON, and residential staff
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program Active NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Experience working with the Pediatric and/or ID/DD population Experience with Residential programs
