The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience in various care settings, and a compassionate approach to patient care. This role involves providing essential nursing services to our pediatric office. The LPN will work closely with physicians, patients, and families to deliver high-quality, personalized care while adhering to all regulatory standards and maintaining patient safety. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Medent is desirable. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient recovery and well-being in a dynamic healthcare setting. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations. Administer medications and vaccinations. Conduct specimen collection Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and sterile processing procedures. Support emergency interventions including basic life support (BLS), airway management, and acute pain management protocols. Skills Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, CPT/ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Expertise in various specialties such as geriatrics, pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator care), behavioral health, occupational health, and post-operative care. Skilled in IV insertion/infusion therapy, catheterization (urinary/femoral), suturing, tube feeding management, and medication administration. Ability to perform physical assessments accurately while recognizing critical changes in patient condition across diverse settings including ICU/trauma centers or outpatient clinics. Excellent communication skills for working with children. Knowledge of infection control practices and sterile techniques essential for maintaining a safe environment.
