LPN - Outpatient

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Travel LPN for a 13-week assignment in a fast-paced Outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working independently in high-volume ambulatory and pediatric environments.

Schedule:

Day Shift | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:30 AM

• 5:30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours:

40 hours/week

Weekend Rotation:

Rotating Saturdays (9:00 AM

• 1:00 PM)

Floating:

Required to other Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics clinics

First-Time Travelers:

Accepted Responsibilities

• Room patients and perform intake assessments
• Monitor and document vital signs
• Administer medications and vaccines (IM, SQ, oral, subcutaneous)
• Perform 12-lead EKGs/ECGs
• Conduct blood glucose testing and specimen collection
• Perform nasopharyngeal/throat swabs and ear flushes
• Obtain and instruct clean-catch urine specimens
• Complete medication reconciliation and patient histories
• Handle telephone triage and follow-up calls
• Interpret and communicate laboratory results
• Process pharmacy refill requests
• Prepare sterile/aseptic procedure trays
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR Required Qualifications
• Active New York LPN/LVN License(required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient or ambulatory experience
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong Epic EMR experience (required)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, flexible, and adaptable

Pay:

$1,500.00

• $1,600.
