Job Description
Join Our Team as an ED-Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department? We're seeking a dedicated ED Licensed Practical Nurse to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Required Skills:
Valid New York State LPN license with the ability to be certified/re-certified in CPR Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an emergency or inpatient setting Proficiency in placing IVs and performing phlebotomy Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, performing core patient care functions Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly preferred Nice toHave Skills:
Experience in acute care or emergency department environments Prior involvement in patient education and care coordination Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed Practical Nurse certification in New York State with at least one year of relevant experience in a clinical setting Prior experience handling acute care procedures and working within emergency or hospital unitsOther Requirements:
Availability to work every other weekend and some holidays as needed Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts Ability to perform a variety of clinical duties including patient assessment, preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and administrative tasks such as charting and insurance authorizations Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment Elevate your nursing career in a supportive, team-oriented environment that rewards your skills and dedication!
