ED- Licensed Practical Nurse

Required Skills:

Valid New York State LPN license with the ability to be certified/re-certified in CPR Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an emergency or inpatient setting Proficiency in placing IVs and performing phlebotomy Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, performing core patient care functions Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly preferred Nice to

Have Skills:

Experience in acute care or emergency department environments Prior involvement in patient education and care coordination Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Education and Experience:

Licensed Practical Nurse certification in New York State with at least one year of relevant experience in a clinical setting Prior experience handling acute care procedures and working within emergency or hospital units

Other Requirements:
