7:00 AM - 7:30

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care within Rehab, Medical-Surgical, Emergency Department, and other inpatient hospital units based on clinical experience and facility needs. The LPN will support physicians and nursing staff while delivering high-quality patient-centered care in an acute care environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care according to established care plans Perform patient assessments and report changes in condition Obtain and accurately record vital signs Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care procedures Administer medications and injections as ordered Prepare patients for examinations and treatments Monitor and document patient responses to interventions Maintain examination rooms and clinical work areas Assist with scheduling, chart preparation, and clerical duties Coordinate referrals and insurance authorizations when needed Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for documentation Participate in patient care and nursing unit quality initiatives Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Required Qualifications:
Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License Minimum 1 year of LPN experience Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain before start Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Acute care patient care experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous inpatient hospital experience Phlebotomy experience IV insertion experience EKG application experience EMR experience Rehab, Med/Surg, or Emergency Department experience
