Job Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time LPN to join a respected outpatient mental health clinic in Yonkers, NY. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, team-based environment with a consistent weekday schedule — no nights or weekends. As part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team, you will support both psychiatric and medical care coordination for patients.
Job Function:
Schedule:
Monday to Friday | 9am-5pm (Will work 1-2 late nights until 7pm, and 1 Saturday a month) Monitor vital signs and overall patient health Screen for mental health, substance use, and medical concerns Administer injectable medications Manage medication refills and prior authorizations Coordinate care with providers, pharmacies, and PCPs Maintain accurate electronic medical records and lab documentation Assist with telehealth/psychiatric scheduling Conduct urine drug screens and breathalyzer testing Support patient referrals and continuity of care Maintain clinic supplies and inventory
Job Requirements:
Active New York State LPN license Experience in mental health, behavioral health, or psychiatric settings Strong communication and documentation skills Comfortable performing observed urine drug screens Experience with EMR/EHR systems Ability to travel between clinic sites (if needed) NYSED Infection Control Certification (or exemption) Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
