- 7:00 PM We are seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN with Medical-Surgical experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a GI Overflow/Med-Surg Tele unit.
This flexible care area supports patients awaiting inpatient placement and provides a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients within the LPN scope of practice. Assist with medication administration, blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion, NG/G-tube care, feeding tube management, oxygen therapy, and activities of daily living. Monitor patient status, document care accurately in Epic, and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team. Follow isolation precautions and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes. Float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed based on staffing and patient census. Requirements Active LPN/LVN license. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience. Experience with Epic EMR preferred. Comfortable caring for telemetry patients and performing common bedside nursing skills. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Schedule & Additional Information Every other weekend required. Floating may be required based on operational needs. Minimal requested time off preferred. Navy blue or white scrubs required.
