Working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional and considerate manner. Responsibilities Accurately record patients' medical histories Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and potential side effects Monitor patients' conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain accurate patient charts Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating and bathing Administer injections, medications, and other basic medical care tasks Collect samples for lab testing as assigned Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families Communicate with patients' families and friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions Skills Proven experience as an LPN or similar role Ability to perform a variety of diverse care tasks and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and able to handle stress Successful completion of LPN license program is a must
