About the LPN Role The LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) is responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to residents from admission through discharge in collaboration with the physician, family, and interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing direct nursing care in accordance with the resident's plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and accurate documentation Supervising day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants/STNAs Monitoring residents' conditions, promptly recognizing changes, and notifying the physician and appropriate team members Promoting a positive, respectful, and resident-focused environment

Qualifications:

Current, unencumbered Ohio LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program or college/university Current CPR certification Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred

Skills and Qualities:
