Job Description

About us: NCTA provides comprehensive, student-centered services. Our dedicated team works collaboratively with educators, families and other professionals to provide evidence-based, individualized, and comprehensive support ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Position Summary:
NCTA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a School in Chesterland, Ohio. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact children's health and well-being while enjoying a a great work schedule!
Hours:
Full-Time position available within school hours (Approx. 8am•4pm)
Pay Range:
Competitive Salary Based on Experience Working Days or Days per week: Follows a standard school calendar•5 days per week•30-40 hours per week Hours per day: 7-8 hours per day
Key Responsibilities:
Providing nursing care and health support to children in school settings. Administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing basic health care needs. Supporting the prevention of communicable diseases and implementing protocols to maintain a safe, healthy environment. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, school staff, and families to ensure the best care for each child. Handling confidential information and maintaining compliance with HIPAA laws and regulations. Staying informed about medication protocols, school health practices, and other related nursing guidelines.
Qualifications include:
Current LPN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing Current CPR certification Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality Basic knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication administration Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills Must work effectively and build relationships with staff, parents, and students. Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
