Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse -
Residential Facility Why You'll Love This Role Meaningful Work:

Day, Evening, or Night shifts available.
Weekend & Holiday Coverage:
Every other weekend and holiday.
Shift Rotation:
Week 1 = 3×12-hour shifts | Week 2 = 4×12-hour shifts.
Pay:
$25.71 - $28.39/hr + $4/hr shift premium for night shift only (7 PM - 7 AM)
Qualifications:
Unencumbered Practical Nurse license in Ohio Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral/mental health; pediatric experience preferred An equivalent combination of education, training and experience CPR certification
What You'll Do:
Conduct physical health assessments and provide well-child care. Supervise, dispense, and educate clients and caregivers about medications, including monitoring for side effects. Respond to physician's orders and provide first aid or other medical interventions as needed. Maintain accurate, confidential medical and dental records, including immunizations and health data. Schedule medical/dental appointments and arrange transportation as needed. Serve as a health resource for residents and agency staff. Provide staff training on universal precautions, communicable diseases, and medication administration. Attend clinical and treatment team meetings to coordinate care.
