Job Description

Hanna House 3 is a newly renovated 20 bed non-telemetry floor that has a wide range of medicine patients. Common diagnoses on our unit include: liver disease, pneumonia, CHF, GI bleed, COPD, ESRD, dialysis pts, asthma, sepsis and cancer HH3 is a great unit for new and experienced nurses to thrive. Our wide range of medicine patients can help a new nurse develop skills and allows for exposure to many different diagnoses but also keeps an experienced nurse on their toes! Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes Displays the mission of the hospital and its values. Education Requirements Diploma or Associate LPN degree from an accredited program License & Certification Requirements An Ohio LPN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance. Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

STNA/PCNA/NAII
is preferred
