Job Description

•Under New Ownership•All shifts available Job Summary Trotwood Health and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including Level I and II trauma centers, emergency medicine, and outpatient care. As a member of the team, you will provide essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practices are upheld. Responsibilities Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers. Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety. Document medical records accurately using EMR and EHR systems. Assist with IV insertion, venipuncture, and other clinical procedures. Provide care in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, urgent care, and post-acute care environments. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold confidentiality standards. Educate patients on health management and disease prevention. Support patients with activities of daily living and provide emotional support as needed. Requirements Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Experience in hospital medicine, emergency room, or urgent care settings preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices. Proficiency in basic life support techniques and vital sign monitoring. Knowledge of medical documentation processes and patient assessment protocols. Experience with geriatric care or pediatric intensive care (PICU) is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
