Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse Gratiot, Ohio | $22.00 to $30.50 per hour (depending on experience) This is a staff LPN opportunity with a not-for-profit integrated healthcare system serving east central Ohio. The organization operates multiple outpatient care centers across a six-county region and is the largest healthcare provider in that area, offering services that include open-heart surgery, trauma care, neonatal care, neurosurgery, and cancer services. The LPN in this role delivers skilled direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse as part of a collaborative care team. Schedule Full-time. Specific shift details and unit schedules should be confirmed during the interview process, as hours may vary by assigned care setting. Compensation $22.00 to $30.50 per hour, depending on experience. What You'll Do In this role, you will provide patient care in accordance with individualized care plans under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. You will record patient measurements and observations accurately and in a timely manner, contributing to the continuity and quality of care across the unit. You will administer prescribed medications as directed by the ordering physician, following established protocols for medication safety and documentation. Collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the care team is a regular and expected part of this position. You will also adhere to the organization's infection control policies and maintain compliance with all applicable clinical standards throughout each shift. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Active, unrestricted Ohio LPN license in good standing Minimum of one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Current CPR certification (BLS), or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire IV therapy certification required for bedside or inpatient assignments Demonstrated proficiency in medication administration and clinical practice Preferred Qualifications Experience in a multi-setting or integrated health system environment Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Prior experience in any of the following settings: surgical center, inpatient hospital, physician office, or behavioral health or crisis stabilization Experience working with pediatric or adolescent patient populations (relevant for the Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit) Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay of $22.00 to $30.50, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) or retirement plan Paid time off Additional benefits as part of the organization's comprehensive employee benefits package To Apply Submit your application through this posting.
