Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) Monday

  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking dedicated Pediatric Home Care Nurses (RN/LPN) to provide exceptional nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes on a flexible, as-needed basis.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach to pediatric care, and experience working with children with diverse medical needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families through personalized home health services.
Shifts and Locations Milford:
Monday-Friday (7:30a-3:30p)
Loveland:
Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri (7a-5p) Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and developmental evaluations tailored to pediatric patients. Manage complex medical equipment including ventilators, feeding tubes, and oxygen therapy devices in the home setting. Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, disease management, safety protocols, and use of medical devices to promote independence and safety. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and ensuring continuity of care across multiple healthcare settings. Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Respond promptly to urgent situations through triage skills, providing critical interventions. Qualifications Valid RN or LPN license with current state licensure required; additional pediatric certification preferred. Prior experience in pediatric nursing or home health care is highly desirable Strong clinical skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate families effectively while demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
