Licensed Practical Nurse UNA LOCATION

Mon-Fri 7am-3pm. •No shifts, no nights, no weekends, no holidays• SUMMARY:
UNA's Licensed Practical Nurses address the health needs of individuals during the day program, including administering medications, participating in the ISP process, and dealing with health emergencies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide Nursing care for the health needs of individuals including emergencies Participate in the development and implementation of health care plans as directed by the RN Administer medication and treatments including deciding the extent of medical treatment needed and carrying out of treatment. May be assigned to attend field trips as needed. Maintain all health supplies and check all medical equipment. Maintains individual health records Manage communicable disease outbreaks Participate in the Individual Service Plan planning Serve as liaison between and resource coordinators, administrators, parents, guardians, and community health providers Follow all Medicaid and DODD established rules Attends in-service training, seminars and other meetings as required by administration Attends Planning meetings Participates in and helps conduct in-service training, seminars and other sessions as set forth by administration Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS and CHARACTERISTICS
High School Diploma or GED Valid LPN licensure plus 3 years experience as an LPN Knowledge of DODD regulations Positive role model, able to maintain positive work relationships Basic computer knowledge w/ Microsoft Office products Reliable, self-starter Must put the needs of our clients first Outside the box thinker; able to adapt to change and make quick decisions PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and move objects. Must be able to stoop, stretch, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to sit to use computer and/or calculator and telephone. Eyesight capabilities must be sufficient to perform these functions. Hearing must be adequate to perform these functions. Must be physically able to lift, carry and move individuals in a safe manner, which includes wheelchairs according to in-service training. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license. Pass criminal background check Pass pre-employment drug screen Pass pre-employment physical exam Complete all DODD training requirements Complete CPR, AED, and first aid training FLSA:
