Job Description

Overview Join Majona Healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse settings. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, skilled nursing services, ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients in their homes, while supporting interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories, to inform care plans. Administer medications, injections, and other treatments following established protocols and safety standards. Assist with complex procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, and sterile specimen collection while maintaining aseptic techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system Cerner to document patient information accurately and efficiently. Provide specialized care for patients with Disability, like cerebral Palsy, Autism, down syndrome, HDHD. Support emergency situations by managing airway control, ventilator use, and acute pain management in collaboration with healthcare teams. Educate patients and their families on health coaching, medication management. Skills Proven experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, children, and neonatal or pediatric patients. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10). Hands-on experience in medical documentation is essential. Skilled in catheter care, and sterile processing procedures. Ability to perform physical assessments and vital signs measurement accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills. Familiarity with specialized areas including home & community care environments. Knowledge of infection control practices and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety at all times. Capable of working independently or collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality nursing services in home settings.
