Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential care to inmates . This role is crucial in ensuring that inmates receive high-quality care and support throughout their incarceration. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient advocacy, thorough understanding of medical practices, understanding of the safety and security of the facility, and ability to work with attorneys, judges, and district attorneys. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care Manage medical records and documentation in accordance with facility policies Perform wellness check-ups on inmates Perform intake screenings Review inmate medical records Interview and educate inmates Assist inmates through drug detox Formulate and execute care plans Maintain accurate records and proper safety procedures Monitor medical supplies Assess the medical progress of inmates with pre-existing conditions Provide emergency first aid as needed R equirements Must be able to: Work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must possess a current License through the State of Oklahoma as an LPN Must provide a copy of the following with application: Driver's license / State issued ID High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Copy of any certifications or degree(s) LPN License Probation and training period of 1 year
