In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive personalized, efficient, and respectful care while supporting their health and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through hands-on nursing practice and collaborative teamwork. Duties
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR).
  • Administer injections accurately following prescribed protocols.
  • Assist with medical procedures with sterile processing techniques while maintaining aseptic techniques.
  • Monitor patients' conditions closely and escalating concerns to physicians or advanced practitioners as needed.
  • Support discharge planning and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ICD coding standards like ICD-9 and ICD-10 for accurate billing and reporting.
  • Collaborate with physicians providing essential support in specialty areas. Qualifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification to practice.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Competency in medication administration including injections.
  • Ability to perform physical examinations and vital signs assessment accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds—including those with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
