Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location:
Markleysburg, Pennsylvania Setting:
Assisted Living & Retirement Facility Shift:
Variable Night Shifts (8-hour shifts)
Schedule:
Approximately 37.5-40 hours per week Job Summary Seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. The LPN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, administering medications, and supervising nursing assistants while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining resident safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and treatments Monitor and document residents' health status and report changes to the RN or physician Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in daily care activities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols Provide emotional support and education to residents and families Requirements Active Pennsylvania LPN license (required) Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred) Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred Ability to work night shifts and flexible schedules Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach For more details reach at vgill@navitassols.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1203 .
