Job Description
University Orthopedics Center, a leading provider of orthopedic services for 35 years, is currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to triage patient calls. Primary responsibility for this position is the courteous and prompt management of triaging all orthopedic calls from patients, the emergency room as well as referring physicians. All telephone messaging and documentation is done via our electronic health record system. Candidates must have great communication and computer skills. Is responsible to protect patient confidentiality and dignity during the scheduling/triage process by securing patient information and discussing processes in a manner supporting patient privacy.
