As an LPN you would be responsible for performing practical nursing work. You would take care of patients and document any progress or incidents.
Responsibilities:
Give Medications:
Safely prepare, hand out, and keep track of resident medicines and medical supplies
Provide Medical Care:
Check vital signs (like blood pressure), give prescribed treatments, and order lab tests
Keep Accurate Records:
Update resident charts, write daily progress notes, and fill out injury or incident reports Watch for
Changes:
Monitor residents closely and quickly report any changes in how they act or feel Work as a
Team:
Partner with doctors, therapists, and other staff members to plan the best care for residents
Guide Other Staff:
Inform and advise mental health technicians about medicine side effects and safety steps
Education:
Professional Certificate Degree or certificate in
Nursing Experience:
36 months 3+ years of LPN experience (preferred)
