Summary Manages individualized, evidence-based nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and procedures. Job Duties Demonstrates the skills and judgement necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing intervention, and procedures as necessary for the care of the patient. Demonstrates knowledge of procedures and theories related to the care of patients in their patient population. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment. Works within Scope of Practice for the LPN, as outlined by the Pennsylvania Code. Identifies and/or assumes activities relative to the developmental needs of the unit and the nursing department.
