Job Description

Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare defined by supportive environments that offer patients the strength they need to overcome life's challenges. We offer behavioral healthcare services - psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. - that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.
Summary:
Our Dallas inpatient rehab center offers detox and residential programs tailored for adult men and women in or near Luzerne County. We honor each individual's autonomy in defining their recovery, supporting a multiple-pathways-to-recovery approach, including both medication-assisted and abstinence-based treatments. Our LPNs assist doctors as needed and perform nursing assessments and discharges.
Pay:
Starting rate for LPNs is $30/hr.
Shift Options:
7:00am - 7:00pm or 7:00pm - 7:00am
Responsibilities:
Provide positive feedback and direction to students/interns. Communicate accurate information courteously to nursing and tech staff. Seek supervision and direction from physicians. Complete nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration, and monitor vitals. Understand detox protocols. Assist medical doctors and provide medical lectures. Report unusual occurrences to the nurse supervisor/program director promptly. Ensure room assignments meet clients' needs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Current LPN license in the state of practice. Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques. Understanding of regulatory bodies such as CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP, and RTFA.
