Overview:

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Medical Telemetry Unit. Up to $8,000 Sign-On Bonus available for qualified candidates! Please ask the recruiter for details.

Hours/Shift:

36-hours per week, Day Shift Our Medical Telemetry is 2 units in one. The unit is comprised of 24 beds; 17 beds of medical telemetry patients, and 7 bed for stroke/neuro patients. The unit takes care of adults with stroke rule out, TIA, CVA, syncope, COPD, CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, and other acute problems needing telemetry monitoring. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, telemetry knowledge preferred but will be taught if unknown, NIHSS required (or will be taught).

Education:

Nursing Trading School Graduate Certification/Licensure:

LPN license required Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
