The LPN will handle essential day-to-day duties such as taking vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, heart rate, temperature), administering oral and injectable medication and collecting laboratory samples. The LPN also completes the necessary documentation and provides other administrative support such as answering phones, scheduling clients, communication with pharmacies and special projects as needed. Duties v Provide direct client care under the supervision of the Psychiatric APNs. v Assess clients and monitor their vital signs v Administer medication and treatments according to supervisory orders v Document client information, treatments and responses to care accurately v Maintain a clean, sterile and safe client environment v Collaborate with APNs, clinicians and other practice staff as needed to ensure coordinated and comprehensive client care v Manage incoming referrals and calls v Manage first time scheduling of clients in EHR system v Assess and schedule clients with the appropriate therapist based on client and provider preferences v Manage incoming referrals and calls v Manage first time scheduling of clients in Simple Practice v Interface with clinical and administrative staff to ensure high quality triaging and scheduling v Engage in meaningful and client-centered interactions with clients for scheduling and benefits v Work with billing to determine benefit eligibility and communicate the information to the client v Other duties and responsibilities designated by the Executive Clinical Director and Assistant Clinical Director Requirements v Active, NJ LPN license in good standing- v Valid BLS and CPR certification v Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing v Experience in mental health setting a plus v Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills v Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
