Summary of Responsibilities A hospice LPN provides care for patients with life-limiting illnesses in the patient's home, assisted living communities, nursing homes, hospitals, or anywhere the patient may call home. The LPN is responsible for using their professional skills to plan, coordinate, provide, and document care for terminally ill patients to ensure all physicians' orders and the patient's specific needs and end of life requests are fulfilled. Qualifications Currently licensed as Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Idaho or other compact state. One (1) years of nursing experience in a community/home health or inpatient experience is preferred. Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR. Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from patients home in all weather conditions to ensure reliability for patient care.
