JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the direction of the Registered Nurse, is accountable for providing safe, age-specific, direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Preoperative department provides comprehensive care for surgical patients through preoperative examination, testing and assessment. The department ensures better outcomes by addressing existing medical conditions or potential problems that may arise during surgery.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Current unencumbered Oregon LPN Licensure required. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
