Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Immediate Hire Evening & Overnight Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care during evening and overnight shifts. As a key member of our care team, you will deliver essential nursing services, support patient comfort, and ensure smooth clinical operations in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes and enhance their overall experience, making a meaningful difference every day. Duties Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, performing physical examinations, and evaluating symptoms to inform care plans. Manage airway maintenance, ventilator support, and emergency response procedures to ensure patient safety during critical moments. Document all patient interactions accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute or home care services. Requirements Valid licensure as an LPN or RN with current state certification. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders. Ability to perform complex patient assessments involving vital signs, intake/output monitoring, and medication administration.
