Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing essential patient care and administrative support for high-risk pregnant patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient service abilities, and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Prior experience in an office setting or hospital setting is desired. This position is vital in ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth clinic operations. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms Measure and record vital signs accurately Assist with patient examinations and procedures in outpatient setting. Support physicians with clinical tasks such as ICD coding, anatomy and physiology assessments. Manage documentation within EHR systems efficiently and accurately Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and ensuring comfort during visits Assist with medical administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and coordinating care across departments Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding Proficiency with EHR systems. Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs collection, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) certification preferred. Familiarity with outpatient clinic workflows. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care deliver. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
