Licensed Practical Nurse Schedule:
Monday-Thursday:
8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Position Overview Our clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support providers in a fast-paced family practice setting. This role is essential to patient care and clinic operations, with a strong focus on phlebotomy, patient interaction, and clinical support. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary staff member responsible for lab draws for all patients Assist providers throughout the clinic with daily clinical duties Perform and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respirations, weight); promptly report abnormalities to the provider Obtain and document patient medical histories prior to provider visits Prepare, organize, and maintain patient charts, including insurance information, registration, correspondence, lab and radiology reports Track, request, and document outside medical records, slides, and films Schedule and coordinate appointments, scans, and diagnostic tests; confirm appointments and communicate schedules to appropriate departments Manage incoming phone calls related to prescriptions, appointment follow-ups, patient questions, and physician requests Relay diagnostic test results per provider direction and conduct follow-up calls for patient concerns and missed appointments Perform occasional appointment scheduling as needed Maintain adequate medical supplies in exam rooms and office supplies in clerical areas Required Skills & Certifications BLS (American Heart Association) Medical Assistant or LPN clinical skills Experience obtaining vitals and performing blood pressure measurements Qualifications Active LPN license (required prior to onboarding) BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required prior to onboarding) Phlebotomy experience preferred (candidates will be asked about number of years and volume of blood draws) New graduates are welcome to apply with instructor references Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seymour, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
