Job Description

Looking for
WEEKEND NURSE
to join our team of nursing. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care by performing physical examinations, vital signs monitoring, and health assessments with precision and compassion. Administer medications and injections safely while adhering to established protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Manage medical documentation accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Educate patients and their families on health coaching topics including medication management, nutrition, dementia, and discharge planning for outpatient or post-acute settings. Participate in infection control practices and aseptic techniques during all clinical procedures to promote a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification to practice. Proven experience in diverse clinical settings such as long-term care facilities Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient records management. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to medication administration, and vital signs assessment Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, family interactions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
