Night Shift Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care/nursing home setting. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during night shift hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to residents, including monitoring vital signs and overall health status Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to the RN or physician Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations Maintain accurate and timely medical records Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care Provide emotional support to residents and their families
Qualifications:
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Oklahoma Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on facility) Previous experience in long-term care or nursing home setting preferred Strong clinical and assessment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and able to work overnight hours Benefits (Optional - include if applicable): Competitive pay at $35.00/hour Flexible scheduling Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Opportunities for career advancement
Work Environment:
