Job Summary The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides nursing care and health-related services to adult day care participants under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LVN supports participant health, safety, and daily well-being while promoting independence and quality of life in a structured adult day care environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor and document participants health status, vital signs, and overall condition Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and per facility policy Assist with development and implementation of individual care plans Observe and report changes in physical or mental condition to supervising staff Provide basic nursing care, including wound care and first aid as needed Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations Coordinate with caregivers, families, and healthcare providers regarding participant needs Ensure compliance with state health regulations and adult day care standards Assist with health screenings, assessments, and emergency response procedures Promote infection control and maintain a safe, clean environment
