Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care Provide patient and family education and emotional support Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
Qualifications:
Current, active LPN license in the State of North Carolina Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience required Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) Strong clinical skills and sound judgment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
