What You'll Do:
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and established nursing standards. Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate healthcare providers. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Supervise and support nursing assistants in the delivery of resident and patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed. Promote a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for patients and residents. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and facility regulations and policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient outcomes. #zr Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license or temporary permit to practice vocational nursing in Texas. Successful completion of hospital and nursing unit orientation requirements. Current CPR certification and ability to maintain certification without lapse. Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
