What You'll Do As an LVN, you will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and physician orders to provide safe, compassionate nursing care while promoting each resident's dignity, independence, and quality of life.Responsibilities include:
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders. Assess residents and promptly report changes in condition. Monitor vital signs, blood glucose, and other clinical observations. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacies, hospice, therapy, and other healthcare providers. Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants during your shift. Maintain accurate electronic documentation. Assist with admissions, physician appointments, and resident follow up as needed. Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition. Promote infection prevention and resident safety. Provide education and encouragement to residents and their families when appropriate.
