RN or LPN Medication Dosing Nurse - Opiate Addiction

True North Recovery & Wellness Center is a substance abuse treatment center that deals primarily with opiate addiction. Our focus is Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in which we utilize methadone, buprenorphine & Vivitrol to combat addiction. We have an in-house pharmacy where the methadone is dispensed. We are in search of a part time RN or LPN to work in our pharmacy with the primary job function of dispensing methadone to our clients.

The responsibilities are as follows:

• Dispense and dose methadone utilizing our dosing software & pump.
• Conduct tb tests, breathalyzers, drug screens, etc. when necessary
• Coordinate care of the patients with the other staff members which include Physician, APRN, nurses, substance abuse therapists and counselors, financial team and management.
• Provide a comfortable and non-judgmental environment for our patients as they navigate their way through their recovery
• Conduct visual and verbal patient assessments.
• Assist management in taking pharmacy inventory of medication & other necessary supplies.
• Be punctual & dependable. The job is full time, the details are as follows:
• 4-5 shifts per week the days of those shifts are somewhat flexible depending on the candidate we hire.

Saturday:

6:30 am

• 9:30 am
• Candidate must be able to work well with others.
• Must be able to follow directions
• Be honest with management, patients & other staff.

There are a few other minor responsibilities but the central responsibility is dosing the medication. True North is an energetic, happy, fulfilling & an overall terrific place to work. We are making a difference in our sphere and are hoping to find a candidate that will only add to it.

$25.00
