Vaccine Administrator (RN, LVN, LPN)

Inspire Health Alliance is currently seeking to hire several dynamic, enthusiastic, and engaged healthcare staff (RN, LVN, LPN, 3rd or 4th year Nursing Students) to support the work of our vaccination events program for students and school employees, taking place at various school sites throughout Northern Virginia. Vaccination events are held regularly throughout the school year and summer, providing flu vaccines and a wide range of child/adolescent vaccinations required for school entry. Work would include administering vaccines, vaccine record review, and support of vaccine-event logistics on event days. • Opportunity is primarily in person at vaccine events, with optional remote record review work for those interested
• Flexible scheduling,with no minimum hour requirements, and opportunity for maximum hours if desired.
• Choose to work events that work with your schedule; events typically on T, W, TH, and occasional Saturdays
• Choose to begin work at some events in May, June, July and/or work at any of the many events in Aug

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete brief onboarding and training requirements
• Work on site at vaccine events in various locations to administer vaccinations for individuals age 5 to adult.

Optional:

Work remotely to review vaccine records via an electronic health platform.

• Utilize your clinical skills, experience and our training to ensure safe and efficient vaccination of individuals.
• Serve a high-volume program, engage and collaborate with nurses, colleagues and leadership teams
• Work with non-clinical colleagues to ensure an efficient, streamlined process
• Demonstrate professional conduct and appearance
• Provide excellent customer service

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proof of Licensure or Certification for work in Virginia; for nursing students, proof of school enrollment
• Experience vaccinating adults and/ or children; detail-oriented
• Personable, with strong communication skills, especially spoken English language; bilingual is a plus
• Ability to maintain composure, be a keen observer, and make sound clinical judgments
• Ability to seek appropriate consultation and team support when necessary
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in dynamic settings
• Comfort working with a diverse population
• Comfort with general computer skills,; basic technologies and applications
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
